What is CCPI?

CCPI is a coalition of parent volunteers whose purpose is to foster a positive environment that promotes the health and well being of students in the Concord-Carlisle community. We do this by establishing educational programs for community members focusing on health promotion and the prevention of prevailing youth risk-taking behaviors. By working with local schools and other community groups, we strive to enhance existing efforts and maximize resources through collaboration. When children are healthy, families are better able to be contributing members of our community, improving life here for everyone.

CCPI is the parent advisory group to the Superintendent's Community Advisory Council on Student Health. Membership in CCPI is open to anyone interested in working within the schools and towns on programs that support positive youth development.

March UnMadness
Relax, Reconnect, Rejuvenate

CCPI is launching a month long campaign in Concord and Carlisle called March UnMadness which strives to encourage busy families to pause and focus on relaxing and reconnecting with each other. The effort is modeled after similar initiatives done in other communities. March UnMadness aims to encourage families to embrace a new set of three R’s: Relax, Reconnect, Rejuvenate. CCPI hopes this calendar allows your family to take a break from their daily “to do” lists and enjoy a new activity or conversation – even if just once a week. Download the March UnMadness calendar or pick one up at the Concord Public Library.
